It has been said that art is a tryst,
for in the joy of it maker and beholder

I am a bit of a freak when it comes to scraps I have a hardtime throwing any away if there is clean space large enough for a sentiment. My friend Ginny said I was a good candidate for making my own paper. so I bot my kit and it sat there, and sat there, and sat there . . .
Finally I pulled it out, read the instructions & went to it. Ok – it was simple enough – but MESSY! you need a basement for this messy process.
Can I just tell you, should you ever want to try this. Don’t just read the instructions – watch some videos. I did after my first go around & realized I needed more tools (some boards for pressing) & that I was using my deckle backwards – Ha! That explains a lot!
I made a simple batch with white scraps & next time (yes there will be a next time) I will try playing with colors and embellishments
Here are 2 cards made using my paper.
ohh, I tried to send my paper through my printer but it would just not grab it. Has anyone else had this problem?
Thank you for stopping by today,
