Jennie’s the best!

Saying thank you is more than good manners. It is
good spirituality. ~Alfred Painter

I started my new job last week, thus the reason I have been so silent. Its hard to find time to craft when you work a full day (at least for me). How do you all do it? I needed to make  thank you card or my cousin. She treated my aunt & I to a fabulous wine tasting evening. I did not care for the wines (I am not a big wine drinker to begin with) but the cheese plates ere great. We learned a bit about pairing wines & cheese & even had a sweet from Switzerland to end the evening.

Here is my card for Jennie. I think the butterflies make the card.

I am the worst at color challenges, especially the ones that use 4 colors. But I did get all 4 colors in as odd as it looks.

I do however love theme challenges as they give so much more room for personal expression. Less boundaries!!! And tell me who doesn’t think butterflies when talking about winged creatures. I had to come out of my comfort zone a bit to have the sentiment as the focal point. I tend to put my sentiment inside the card.

At least I was able to craft & stat to get my rhythm back a bit as well. It usually takes me a bit before I can just jump in after I have been away from my work desk for too long.

Thank you for stopping by,
